Who are we ?

Our names are Michael and Lisa Maxwell. We are Registered Canine Control Council of Queensland (CCCQ) breeders of the Australian Cattle Dog. We tend to focus on blue puppies only and generally one litter a year is on the ground. We also work closely with two other breeders here in QLD so if we don't have pups we might know someone who does!

Why come to us ?

Firstly, all our breeding stock (or outside stock utilised in most cases) is FULLY HEALTH TESTED, that means DNA PRA tested (eye disease), Hip and Elbow scored, BAER tested (hearing). So that is the best start we can give our pups. We have started the process to join the Master Dog Breeders Association as well to improve our knowledge through the courses they offer and show buyers we are serious about breeding and producing sound, quality puppies for purchase.

Secondly, all our puppies are individually hearing tested, PRA tested, microchipped, registered with the CCCQ, all wormed regularly, started on heartworm, Advantix and socialised with our kids. We also provide a health guarantee and free six weeks Puppy Insurance on all our pups regardless of where their future lies - show, breeding, herding, obedience, agility or just a loyal best friend. We will be your support throughout the life of your pup if you so wish.

We can also organise transport to anywhere in Australia and assist in exporting overseas. Plus our puppy prices are reasonable for all that we guarantee. We don't mass produce - we aim for quality rather than quantity and that does make a difference! Our dogs are family pets first and foremost and our kids play with them on a daily basis which shows how versatile cattle dogs can be. They live as part of the family, not in kennels away from the house.
